Mark your calendars — the Ojibwe Forests Rally is back, and it’s going to be a fast one. Set for August 28–29, 2026, in the heart of Minnesota’s 10,000 Lakes region near Bemidji, Ojibwe is widely regarded as one of the longest and most exhilarating stage rally events in the United States.
Running as both an ARA National and Central Regional event, this year’s rally spans 143 competition miles across roughly 285 transit miles — a massive undertaking through some of the most beautiful forest roads in the Midwest.
Fast, Flowing, and Unforgiving
Ojibwe has a well-earned reputation for speed. The smooth, sandy dirt roads let competitors push into fifth and sixth gear for long stretches, making it a favorite among drivers who love high-paced, momentum-driven stages. But don’t let that fool you — when the rally route ventures onto narrow ATV access roads barely wider than a car, the challenge shifts dramatically. Those sections feature large rocks and deep ruts that punish any loss of focus, making car setup and driver adaptability absolutely critical.
Weekend Schedule
Friday kicks off with a full day of forest stages, wrapping up with a Parc Expose and Super Special at the iconic Soo Pass Ranch. Saturday brings more signature forest stages, culminating in the crowd-favorite Sanford Street Stage as the day’s grand finale. Service both days will be hosted at Pioneer Farms, giving teams a reliable home base in between the action.
